The training, which was attended by around 60 participants, also included the CoVEs Network Partner Institutions, together with senior officials from the Ministry of Labour and the TEVET Authority. Director of TEVET at the Ministry of Labour, Richard Chirwa, said the training came at the right time to ensure that managers of the CoVEs are in tune with dynamic leadership demands.
The project is in the process of establishing four CoVEs namely: Tourism CoVE at Malawi Institute of Tourism in Blantyre, Agricultural Mechanisation CoVE at Lilongwe Technical College, Marine Transport CoVE at Salima Technical College, and Renewable Energy CoVE at Mzuzu Technical College.
